This way, they can experience a game you loved. It's amazing for newer hardware and titles that become available to try at a discount, and it also gives people an opportunity to try older titles or hardware they may not be able to find anywhere else.

What happens to my item after I trade it in?

A hardware item that is traded in at a GameStop store location will start its journey to becoming a USED item by first making its way to their Reclamations Centre where their amazing team will put it through a refurbishment process, which includes testing, QA, repairs (if needed), and cleaning.

All products must pass through their Quality Assurance process before being made available at one of their stores, where it goes back to the sales floor to be purchased as a USED item.
